Jean is committed to excellence in museums and works with clients to operate according to best practices in the museum field.  She assists organizations in: strategic planning; board development; staff recruitment and training; writing grant proposals; developing and implementing collections management policies and procedures; collections re-housing, inventory, and documentation projects; and exhibit planning, development and installation. She works with clients to define a project’s scope, and establish a project’s work plan, schedule, and budget.

Jean delivers project on time and within the agreed upon budget, earning praise from her clients.  Upon completion of an exhibit for the U.S. District Court, District of Kansas, Chief Judge Kathryn Vratil,  wrote “You exceeded our highest expectations and have done a real public service for us all…”

Jean’s projects have been recognized by the American Association for State & Local History’s Leadership in History Award (2015, 2012), and the Missouri Governor’s Humanities Award (2007).
